Engagements

The expertise you need. A scope you can work with.

Start with a specific technical question. Choose a focused assessment, an ongoing advisory relationship, or hands-on support for a defined piece of work.

01

Focused assessment

For a decision that needs clarity.

Review the current system, constraints, and evidence. Receive architecture options, risks, and prioritized next steps.

WHAT WE AGREE UP FRONT

An agreed question, available documentation, and a decision owner.

02

Ongoing technical advisory

For decisions that keep evolving.

Work through designs and operational questions at an agreed cadence. Capture recommendations and revisit their outcomes.

WHAT WE AGREE UP FRONT

An engineering owner, review priorities, and agreed access and availability.

03

Coaching & focused engineering

For capability gaps or a bounded technical task.

Develop your team's skills, validate a prototype, or implement a defined integration with acceptance criteria and a handover.

OWNERSHIP BY DESIGN

Know who owns
the next step.

We own the advice, reviews, and deliverables we agree. Your engineering team owns its delivery and production decisions.

For each engagement, we define the technical scope, working cadence, access requirements, acceptance criteria, and handover. Implementation support covers named tasks. Availability and commercial terms are agreed before work begins.

Focused engineering support

A PRACTICAL FIRST CONVERSATION

Bring the problem, the system, and the decision.

Share the initiative, who will implement, and where your team needs specialist input. We will help define an appropriate starting scope. An assessment can stand alone or inform a longer advisory engagement.

A CLOSER LOOK

Make the working agreement as clear as the technical brief.

A useful engagement begins with agreement on the questions, the people involved, and how the work will be reviewed. These details help keep specialist support focused and usable.

01

Scope and cadence

Record the outputs, exclusions, review schedule, and response expectations. Decide how new questions or changes to the work will be assessed.

02

Access and collaboration

Agree which documents, environments, and people are needed. Use appropriate access and sanitized examples where live data is unnecessary.

03

Review and handover

Define how recommendations or components will be accepted. Assign an owner for follow-up actions and keep the decision record available to the team.

PLANNING YOUR NEXT STEP

Useful questions
to resolve.

Can we move between engagement types?

Yes. An assessment may reveal a need for coaching or recurring advice. We agree any change in scope and commercial terms before taking on the additional work.

Do you offer fixed timelines or unlimited support?

Timing and availability depend on the agreed scope, team access, and dependencies. Advisory work has defined review and response expectations; it is not unlimited or round-the-clock support.

What if we only need a second opinion?

A focused design review can be an appropriate engagement. Bring the current proposal, alternatives, constraints, and the decision you need to make.
